It is totally fine! You are, however, required to pay an additional race fee to participate in both races. Just make sure you pre-register for both races.

Do you have to run or is walking allowed?

Yes, you can! We just ask that those who choose to walk stage themselves behind the runners, so no one gets injured. Runners can also choose to participate in the 5k, if they would like. They just need to stage themselves in the front.

If I originally signed up for the 10k, but decided that morning I would prefer to do the 5k, what do I need to do? Can I switch?

Absolutely! There is no price difference between the 5k and 10k entry fee; however, we do ask that you visit the “Problem Desk” in the registration area to make it official.
