Give and Help Families in Need
This Holiday Season
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's 2020 San Diego Run for the Hungry has been canceled. Despite this year's cancellation, the San Diego Food Bank is still in need of the community's help - now more than ever before.
The San Diego Food Bank and its North County Food Bank chapter have been on the frontlines of the county's COVID-19 response efforts. Widespread job loss coupled with business and school closures have combined to increase food insecurity among families in communities throughout San Diego County. And the Food Bank is currently feeding nearly 600,000 people every month.
Virtual Food Drive for the San Diego Food Bank
Every year, we encourage physical food drive donations on race morning. However, because we won't be gathering together this year, we are encouraging those who are in a position to give to donate online through the San Diego Run for the Hungry Virtual Food Drive. Click the Donate Now button to help feed hope this holiday season.
