2020 San Diego Run for the Hungry 5K & 10K
Canceled due to COVID-19 Pandemic
Dear Run for the Hungry Past Participant and Supporter,
Thank you for your participation over the years to raise vital funds in support of our race beneficiary the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's 2020 San Diego Run for the Hungry has been canceled. Despite this year's cancellation, the San Diego Food Bank is still in need of the community's help - now more than ever before.
The San Diego Food Bank and its North County Food Bank chapter have been on the frontlines of the county's COVID-19 response efforts. Widespread job loss coupled with business and school closures have combined to increase food insecurity among families in communities throughout San Diego County. And the Food Bank is currently feeding nearly 600,000 people every month.
Below is a video message from the Food Bank's President & CEO, James Floros about how you can help the San Diego Food Bank this holiday season.
